The world has been around for a very long time. Even though writing has not been as long as the world itself, it has been around long enough to have a little of its own history. The earliest writing that I can remember as long ago as 25,000-3,000 years BP, would be cave carving (don't you guys feel young?). The pictures would tell meaningful stories. Then there were the Egypt paintings. I don't have enough time to talk about every type of writing invented because I'm sure you guys agree that time is precious, so I'll just jump ahead a little. After alphabets were invented people started jotting down their thoughts in sentences. I remember the very first type of writing invented in China was the Chinese Bamboo Writing, we used a writing brush dipped in ink and stringed together strips of bamboo and used it as 'paper'. After pencils and papers were invented, the old bamboo writing was almost completely forgotten and replaced. Since pencils, pens and papers are so convenient and reliable, even though there is a ton of new writing technology created ever since that, we have not forgotte......
