Traditional broadcasting Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Broadcasting refers to a means of transmission/publication and distribution of audio or/and visual signals, of which information is transmitted to an audience. The audience can be the general public or a comparatively large sub-audience, such as young adults or children (John 201). A schedule refers to the sequencing of content in a broadcast. Radio and Television programs are disseminated through radio broadcasting or cable, often both concurrently. Forms of electronic broadcasting Radio broadcasting was experimentally introduced as from 1906, and become commercial from 1920 (Lichty and Topping 118). Radio broadcasting is transmission and distribution of audio (sound) signals through the air as radio waves from a broadcasting transmitter to a receiver antenna of a receiving device. Television broadcasting was experimentally introduced as from 1925 and started operating commercially as from the 1930.
