* Primo Levi was born in Turin Italy in the year of 1919 on July 31st he passed away in the same city in the year of 1987 on April 11th.
* He survived the holocaust.

Levi was born into a free-thinking Jewish family, he farther Cesare had worked in a factory for a firm called Ganz and spent the majority of time working in hungry. Levis Mother named Ester commonly referred to as Rina, was known to be well educated women and spoke the French language fluently and could also play the piano competently. Rinas and Cesares wedding was arranged by cesare's father who also had supplied an apartment in which Primo Levi spent most of his life in. In the year of 1921 Levis sister Anna Maria was born he kept close with his sister for most of his life. Levi was a skinny and shy child and was low on confidence referring to him as ugly however he would always progress ahead of other academically.
