For the past few decades, the issue of homosexual marriage has been debated on and over again. From the churches to the courtrooms this ongoing dispute has even found itself being discussed in the White House. Politicians use it to gain the public approval, which many of them lack, by speaking in favor or in opposition of gay marriages. Churches generally fight against the legalization of gay marriages in America due to their long standing beliefs. It seems to be wherever the location and whenever the time is right the topic of gay marriage is either in discussion or debate. Some people even consider the subject book worthy. That being said, I introduce Andrew Sullivan, author of "Why the M word Matters to Me," and Komal Bhojwami, author of "Mother Land." Both authors offer their take on the matter and why they feel they should be allotted the same rights as heterosexual couples. The two writers utilize ethos, pathos and logos to establish their arguments. Although as homosexuals they both carry the same opinion on the overall issue, they exploit their usage of the three rhetoric......
