Dracula the Musical Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
On the night of October 29,2008, I went to go watch "Dracula, The Musical?" The play was directed by J.B. Tuttle and presented by ABQ Stages. The production was staged at The Filling Station, which is an extremely small space compared to a theatre such as Rodey. I have never prior to this event seen live theatre so I was anxious to see what all the buzz was about. I absolutely loved the entire production and I know that I will definitely be including theatre in my life from now on. In this short response, I will evaluate the acting and costumes/set of "Dracula, The Musical?"
In the production, "Dracula, The Musical?," the main idea seemed to be a little vague. To me, it just all appeared to be for fun. It was a musical comedy but yet it mimicked somewhat the story of Dracula. The play was about Dracula from Transylvania who really wanted a young girl called Mina, for himself, and she just happened to be his next door neighbor, as well. The entire play was built around this, until Dracula's plan began to fail when Dr. Van Helsing came along to try to catch him. So in this w......
