In the Babylonian genesis a story is told about the creation of the cosmos. It starts with the parents, Apsu and Tiamat. Apsu is the salt water ocean and his wife Tiamat is the sweet water ocean. Their first son mummu is the mist of the two bodies combined. All three of these waters formed a cloud in which everything came from. This cloud included all the ingredients or elements in which everything then came from. These are the parent gods and before them there was nothing, no time. Soon after came other gods. Through Anshar and Kishar children such as Anu, the sky god and his son Ea who was a wise god came Ea's son was Marduk who would save the young gods and create the world and the cosmos. But before Marduk's birth Apsu and Mummu had become tired of hearing the gods who were loud. All Apsu, Tiamat and Mummu wanted was to sleep so having their sleep disrupted by the younger gods Apsu and Mummu devised a plan to kill all the younger gods so they could have silence and be left undisturbed. Ea the wisest of the gods was able, through magic, to kill mummy and Apsu, leaving Tiamat aliv......
