Gender Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Gender
This week all of my class mates were put in groups of four and we were asked to discuss about gender and our experiences involving gender. In my group there were two females and two males including me and we spoke about how our gender mattered at workplaces, home, and school.
This seemed very uncomfortable to talk about because eventually it comes down to which gender is more dominant. Therefore everyone did not open up that much to discuss this topic in order to not offend anyone.
First we spoke about gender at home. One of the females mentioned that the males in her family have more freedom to go out of the house and at any time. I suppose that's because her family is cultured and want the females to take care of the house and should leave the house with a male especially during night time because females are easier targets than males. And I feel that there is nothing wrong with that. All of us also agreed to the fact that the male head of the family tend to be more dominant that the female head when it comes to decision making at homes. I feel that it may seem unf......
