Food is one of the basic requirements for life so logically it is a big part of people¡¦s lives. Nobody can live without food as food creates energy that allows people to stay alive. Countries with a good food supply often have a better developed social and cultural structure that allows society to advance. However, even today, there are still many countries in this world which do not have enough food for people to eat, especially in developing countries. That leads to lots of people who may suffer or die. Moreover, throughout history, natural and man-made problems have resulted in thousands or sometimes even millions of people being under-nourished or even dying.
