Throughout history many instruments have evolved. Although they have evolved the instruments name remains the same. Maybe some words are added to the instrument, which indicate the type of instrument it is, for example the Acoustic guitar is somewhat similar to the electric guitar yet not the same nor similar to the Mexican guitar. Although the acoustic guitar, the electric, and the Mexican guitar have six strings, look the same and sound almost alike they are totally different from one another.
The first type is an Acoustic guitar which is basically hollow. It is made of wood and it has six strings. It has four thick strings that have a wrap around that is made of nickel and the other two are made of steel. This type of guitar is mostly found in country bands. It is not only found in country bands, but also in many homes. Many people have these guitars because since they are hollow they produce a moderate sound without an amplifier.
