She expressed a sense of hopefulness in the progression for equity in the health care system after talking to several Representatives and Senators, however she warned not to underestimate the immense effort needed for change. Equity reformation needs to happen in many aspects of the health care system; including equal pricing, coverage, and protection. (Codispoti 2008; Carr 2003). The public must address the discrepancies in the health care coverage and medical assistance to insure gender-neutral policies.
