A Rebellion, Mc Murphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a 1975 film by Milos Forman. The movie takes place in a mental asylum and improves around one basic character and his struggle with the restricting authoirty of the hospital.
In the introduction scene of the film, Mc Murphy who is actually a criminal in prison is brought to the asylum upon his pretending to be mad in there. In the opening scene, with Mc Murphy's coming, people upstairs are shown by using of low angle which is both to foreshadow the film is going to be around him and his viewing is more important than anyone else and also to give the feeling that he is at some foreign place in which he feels like an alien. A second later, the angle turns to opposite, by using of high angle, we are introduced with the inmates' viewing him as an alien which also foreshadows Mc Murphy's being a different person (00:04:57).
He portrays a very energetic and lively man when he tries to communicate with the 'cuckoo's in the hospital. From the very beginning we get an idea on Mc Murpyh's seeing the life. He seems reckless. He doesn't behave......
