Washing Laundry and Washing Dishes Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Have you ever noticed in your life how your day-to-day chores become more and more alike? Cleaning at some capacity is an activity we as people do at some point in our daily lives. As we engage in the day-to-day cleaning we notice certain similarities and differences in each chore we do. Two of my favorite chores to do around the house are washing dishes and washing laundry. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the similarities and differences of the two. The main similarities and differences are water, detergent, and machines, time, cycles, and process.
Washing dishes and washing laundry both require water, some sort of detergent and in most cases a machine to do the work. The most notable similarity here is that they both require water. Washing dishes requires using hot water and washing clothes requires different temperature levels. Washing dishes in a dishwasher or by hand and washing laundry in a washing machine or by hand.
