Upon arriving in Kava, Nik soon learned how true this statement is. Because of the high demand and need of quality nurses, Nik indeed believed that Visiting Nurses would be an asset and that her company would definitely see the benefits of becoming a presence in Kava. Visiting Nurses will also need to become a major shareholder in the rebuilding of Kava. They will need to work with the local community-based agencies as well as the local government on a rebuilding plan. They will need to identify a specific plan to achieve this goal. They need to implement this plan immediately and put any proactive measures into effect to try to avoid another disaster. Nik and Alex decided to name the plan Project Paradise.
