There are many types of racism in this country. Unfortunately, we all have seemed to experience some type of racism, whether it is because you are man or woman, rich or poor, and especially what color your skin is, like black or white. With that in mind, I have chosen to write about "Environmental Racism". I searched the web for a definition of this type of racism that was easier to understand (in laymen terms). I found this definition on the Wikipedia web site and I think it is appropriate for me to quote and state the whole definition. I quote, " Racial discriminations the enforcement of environmental rules and regulations, the intentional or unintentional targeting of minority communities for the sitting of polluting industries, or the exclusions of minority groups from public and private boards, commissions, and regulatory bodies. The term was coined and defined by the former Reverend Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr. - Environmental justice is the movement to reverse environmental racism". Robert D.
