Emotions and Communication Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I kept a record of my emotions and their effect on my communication. When I summarized my experiences recorded in my journal on emotions and how they affected my communication, I see that when money is involved it can bring on strong emotions especially when things are not going the way you want them. The situations described below are events that took place during the three day recording of my emotions.
The emotions I felt on Monday were anxious, and happy. The way these emotions influenced my communication with others was that I was polite. The other people that were involved were the people at the Rhodes Murphy business, where they do taxes. The circumstance for my emotions was that I was waiting on my tax refund check, which supposed to have been in that Wednesday. I mostly had nonverbal cues which was, having my head down when I realized my check did not come early. The first situation where my emotions seemed to influence my communication happened on Tuesday.
