It was the morning of September 11th 2001, I was so excited since my mom said, the night before, that my sister Yelitza and I were going to go see the twin towers. My mom slept while Yelitza and I fought over what we would watch. Of course she won, so we settled down and watched dragon tales. As we watched the TV, we lost signal, just then I grabbed the remote and changed the channel, all that was on was the news. I listened in and the news Anker was explaining terrible news. A plane crashed into the north tower of the twin towers. While watching the tower engulfed in flames my mom walks out of her room. My mom had a smile on her face knowing that she was taking her two girls to see the twin tower that she has seen long ago. As I stared hopelessly at the TV Yelitza ran over to my mom and grabbed her tight. That's when my mom noticed what was on the TV. My mom thought we were watching some kind of horror flick, soon she came to realize that it was not a movie that it was what was happening just miles away.
