Midnight. My eyes flashed open. Feeling something cold pressed against my forehead, trying to feel the object I heard a harsh, dead voice whisper "move and your dead." At that point I knew what was on my forehead. The thought sent a cold sense of reality down my spine chilling me to the bone, making me shiver. Outside clouds moved and reviled a full moon its beams shining on the thing that is holding me at gunpoint. It was a tall, muscular, older man, Gruff like the rough sands of time have been blowing against his face for a millennium, then in a blink of an eye something shined, a bomb with a suicide trigger. That's when it hit me...I knew I could not take him out without killing me or somebody in the hotel. The truth settled in with another violent shiver. Even with all the tactics I learned in the marines, special ops, and the agency I could not make this nightmare go away without hurting innocent people or myself.
