Who would have guessed that Disney, a place where all your dreams come true and millions and millions of children come to visit every year, would be accused of violating labor laws and using children to make their toys, clothing, books and movies? Not only are these children and other workers being used but they are also underpaid and overworked. Many workers work for Disney in hope for an escape from debt and a rewarding opportunity but instead they are forced to work under hazardous and unsafe conditions everyday. All this goes on while people all over the world buy these products for five or six times what the workers get paid for actually making the products.
Disney's violation of labor laws occur because people in places such as Haiti, Vietnam, and China are selling their children to work off debts that they can't afford to pay off on just their salary alone.
