Global Warming: Overcoming Planet Earth Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Global warming has been an increasing concern over the past 15+ years. It has been researched, discussed in schools, films, and political meetings. Our ozone has been damaged and our ecosystems compromised. In this paper will go over the predictions of Greenhouse gas (GHG) predictions as well as other related material. We will also review why the United States did not sign the Kyoto treaty. The following information is a U.S overview of predictions of GHG in four countries.

According to the Energy Information Administration (EIC) Emissions of Greenhouse gas report, the United States currently pumps out between 5,982 million metric tons (MMT) of carbon dioxide (CO2 ) and is projected to increase this production to 6,851 MMT, which is a 6.1% increase. (EIC, 2008) Yet, according to the Department of State website, former president Bush's "Global Climate Change Policy", is said to be committed to reducing GHG emissions by 18% by 2012. (Department of State, 2001) I think these predictions seem to be conflicting.
China is currently producing between 5,323 MMT to 6,898 ......
