Night by Elie Wiesel - A Book Review Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

This paper is about the book Night by Elie Wiesel. The book starts out by introducing Elie and his family to us. He has three sisters and his mom and dad. From the first couple of pages in the first chapter we see that the twelve year old Elie is a very religious young man who thirsts for more knowledge about God. He meets a man by the name of Moshe the Beadle who becomes his teacher of the Cabbala. Then in 1942 Moshe the Beadle is deported and when he returns he warns the town of the impeding dangers of the German army, however; the towns' people do not heed his warnings. Then just two years after Moshe warned them, in 1944 the Jews were sent to ghettos, then shortly after these ghettos were established the Jews began being deported to concentration camps in Auschwitz. Soon enough Elie and his family end up in Birkenau where Elie and his father are separated from his mother and sisters, whom Elie would never see again. Shortly after getting separated from his mother Elie witnesses the burning of babies and begins to realize the importance of being together. Not long after Elie and h......
