The book that I have chosen to do my review on "One Thing Led To Another" is primarily 'chick lit'. It is a light-hearted novel perfect for a Sunday afternoon. The way the author Katy Regan set the book out made it not only easy to read and pick up but I also feel that the author was successful in trying to keep her readers interested and involved in the storyline.
The book is set in London, England and begins by introducing with four best friends and main characters. There is Gina who is flamboyant in her love life and flats with best friend, Tess. Tess works as a journalist for a hot magazine and likes to sleep with Jim. Jim is an English teacher and is described by Tess; (more affectionately known as Jarvis) "He does look cool, in a Jim-eclectic kind of a way." (pg 18). Finally, there is Vicky, The last of this 'awesome foursome' clan, Vicky was always the cool one at college with the "This-is-me-like-it-or-lump-it way." (pg 11)
The book starts with a countdown, in first person narrative. It does not identify which character is speaking only who......
