The 15th century was considerate as the period of time of brutish, evil, and predatory discovery of the world. During this time, there were many explorers who were considerate as heroes by many people of that time or their countries. The reason why people called these explorers heroes were because these explorers discovered new lands and brought riches back to their countries. However, today, as historians are going through the books and places where the events have happened, they discovered the other side of these explorers that they could be considering as villains instead of the word heroes. One of these villains was also a person who changed the world, his name was Christopher Columbus. He was the only explorer who created a wave of genocide by killing thousands of innocent Native America. Therefore, Christopher Columbus could be considerate as a villain because he brought to America and Europe slavery, disease and death.
