The ultimate reasons for adopting the ethnocentric approach are,
 A perceived lack of skilled employees in the host country.
 For maintaining a good relationship, synchronization, and management with home countries office. Also for the firm which enters the international arena for the first time the ethnocentric approach will reduce the perceived risk.
 In less developed nations the employee from the home country will ensure that the host countries subsidiaries will fulfill corporate objectives and policies.
