How does the character of Skellig in David Almonds novel develop? Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Skellig is an amazing story it really catches your eye and wants you to read more. It is written by the wonderful author, David Almond who has written many more extraordinary novels. The main characters are Michael, Mina and Skellig. I think Skellig is one of the main characters because Michael introduces him and they become quite friendly and have a strong relationship, right at the beginning of the story. Also the title of the book lets the reader know that Skellig is the main character. I think Skellig changes enormously from the beginning, right through to the end and this essay examines how Skellig changes his characteristics throughout the story. When Michael is exploring the dangerous and dirty old garage, he crept over to an old tea chest and slowly shone his bright luminous torch at a mysterious object which was Skellig. At the beginning of the novel Skellig looked pale and thin. This tells us that he has not eaten a lot for a long time and is not feeling very well which is why he is so pale. This shows us that Skellig is unwell and may be very happy with Michae......
