Martin Luther King Jr. Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
It was 6:01 PM, and he was staring out into the cloudless blue sky, on his beautifully crafted balcony, and he realised the shock of what had happened as he fell lifelessly onto his knees. All the work he had done in his life, all the peace that he had inspired and all his non-violent protesting that everyone so much loved about him was all wiped out and forgotten in the moment that the bullet penetrated his jaw, and through to his neck. Blood spurted out everywhere, on the balcony, the rail, and down on the floor below them. Darkness fell around his eyes as he passed out, sprawled on the floor. He lay there, dead still with a surprised, but peaceful expression on his face.
Sirens closed in on his location and they carried his limp body to the ambulance, and then sped to the Accident and Emergency centre. Later, his heart stopped beating. His brain showed no activity. The man who had changed the world so much, passed away.
