It is a warm summer evening, and Daisy is very tired after a long day. She is exhausted after the fight she had with her husband, and decides to go to bad early. As she is lying on her bed, she starts thinking about a charming gentleman, Jay Gatsby. She can't stop wondering what her life would have been like, if they were still lovers. She can't stop feeling his easy going, laid back aura. She can't stop remembering his weekly lavish parties, and his calm afternoon lunches. Suddenly, she's a younger girl again. She is no longer in her bedroom, but outside sitting on grass overlooking a lake. She has her favorite diamond earrings and necklace on, the ones her dad bought her. She remembers her dad used to buy her expensive gifts, anything she wanted he would buy for her. She looks around and sees a younger man, around the same age as her, walking towards her. He is wearing jeans and a t shirt; she can tell he is not very wealthy. Yet somehow, she feels attracted to him even though he is not wealthy.
