Lessons of Macbeth Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

When someone picks up a book and starts reading, they expect to learn something by the time they are done. This is why authors attempt to teach the reader a lesson in their works. Shakespeare does a wonderful job doing this in his plays, especially Macbeth. This play about a great, noble warrior shows demonstrations of the most important lessons in life. Macbeth is forced to make decisions that represent decisions that people make in modern time, such as the choice between greed and selflessness. However, Macbeth just makes these decisions in different circumstances. Through these decisions, this tragic story teaches us lessons that can be put to use in real life. There are many lessons that Shakespeare teaches the reader throughout this play, and they show that these types of morals can lead to the downfall of a hero. One lesson in Macbeth is to let nature take its own course. In the play, we see that if someone tries to change their future after it has been predicted, they can cause horrible things to happen.
