Urbanization is the process in which a mass or large number of people, move to a small area in order to form a city or town. The rapid growth of American cities over the past 300 hundred years has been one of the most talked about subjects throughout history. These major growths were taking place in all regions of the world, but they were mainly dominant in the north and south. For some urbanization brought about a positive change such as better jobs, different environmental status, and social networking. While on the other hand it caused cities to become over populated, major companies to become bankrupt, and political chaos. Even though, urbanization is a process that has a positive and a negative view it is still a process that continue, even through present day.
