Businesses need to know how to keep their employees happy. Successful companies will have good motivational strategies in place for their employees. Motivated employees are happier and more productive at work. This paper will be looking at Intel Corporation. This paper will give a brief history of Intel, and some financial records. Organizational structure and decision making strategies will be examined. A look at how Intel motivates its employees will be included. This paper will conclude with an analysis and suggest improvement, if any. History Intel Corporation is the largest semi-conductor manufacturer in the world. Intel has facilities in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Three gentlemen founded Intel in 1968, Robert Noyce, Gordon Moore, and Andrew Grove. In 1971, Intel introduced the first microprocessor and went public. In 1978 Intel beat out the competition when IBM bought Intel's chip, the 8008, instead of Motorola's chip, the 68,000.
