Criteria for learning experiences in higher education that I believe are important and imperative in the development of curriculum planning are: experiences that will allow each student the opportunity to practice the behaviors implied by the objectives that are listed on each course syllabus, experiences that are appropriate to the students' present attainments and theirindividual needs, and several experiences that will attain the same course objective by thinking "out of the box." Within the higher educational academic process, our text states that course and curriculum development must include a concrete planning course process, organized context and content, a logical form, challenging instructional activities, a detailed syllabus, a fair evaluation process, and a period of adjustment and improvement. Student knowledge is measured in several ways.
