Over the years, Call of Duty has taken the action packed, first person shooter series to new heights. Released in November of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 topped the charts for most anticipated, most preordered, and most played game. Created by the game producing company Infinity Ward, the standards of game play were set extremely high. Focusing on map layouts, weapons and weapon attachments, and smooth game play, the team at Infinity Ward spent over three years creating and perfecting Modern Warfare 2.
Modern Warfare 2 contains three main modes: Campaign, Multiplayer and Special Ops. The Campaign consists of Americans as the good guys and what appear to be people from the middle-east as the bad guys. The Campaign mode offers you the chance to play both the good guy and the bad guy, however politically incorrect it is. Modern Warfare 2's campaign kicks off with a couple of brief tutorials to familiarise players with the controls. It then plunges them headlong into the game's plot.
