Movie Review of The Betrayed Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
After a near fatal car accident, Jamie Taylor regained consciousness on the floor with bruises and aching body. As she found her self imprisoned in a dungeon-like room, her abductor's figure appeared outside the semi-transparent window of the room's door. She learned from the man that she and her son, Michael, are held captive by a crime syndicate. Jamie is then forced by the man, by giving her a cold shower, to answer a series of questions about her husband to which she has no idea.
The man finally entered the room with a mask on its face and identified himself as Alec. Alec informed her that her husband, Kevin Taylor, is also a member of their syndicate and a ruthless killer. It was revealed that after a major product transaction, Kevin stole away the syndicate's money of forty million dollars and only she can locate the lost funds. Because of ultimate bewilderment, Jamie was hesitant to help. He then established that he can and will do anything to her and to her son in order to extract the information and he began by pushing her broken ribs.
