Imagine being in a place where you're not mentally able to make your own life or death decision when, in reality, life is not worth living. Imagine being confined in a hospital bed on life support, motionless, and not being able to do anything about it. Think about what a person might feel on those last days of living and knowing that no one is able to make that harsh decision that they want so badly. What if this was you? Doctor-Assisted suicide should be allowed, being that it alleviates suffering in families and gives the patient freedom of choice to live or die when life itself cannot get any better. In cases where the quality of life cannot be improved, suicide provides a distinguished option to avoid suffering. Being confined in a room, with very little mental capacity left is no way to live. In this kind of situation, patients should be permitted to make a decision of the time and the position of their death.
