Going from elementary to secondary education is a huge difference. Some of the main differences are the amount of responsibility put on the student to complete work, the daily schedule and social opportunities through clubs and sports. All of these differences make high school nothing like elementary school.
In high school you have a lot more responsibilities like getting homework and projects done on time. The teachers don't call your parents and if you forget to hand in an assignment you get a zero. If you miss a class it is up to you to get caught up. Not only are you putting pressure on yourself to do your homework, but your parents are constantly on you to get it done so that you don't get behind. In elementary, the teacher will give you the work you missed and your teacher reminds you five times a day to do your work and if you don't get it done, no worries because the teacher will just let you hand it in the next day or call your parents. In high school the teachers don't know what the other teachers are doing so you could have 4 tests in one day or lots of assignme......
