Abstract This case assessment reflects an eight-year-old adolescent female named China Jose, who displays behaviors related to ADHD and PTSD. Applied within this paper are current theories of counseling with children and adolescents. A plan will be developed for the improvement of cultural diversity. The client will be assessed while in crisis and a treatment plan will be developed to assist the client during crisis. The therapist will propose strategies for solving ethical dilemmas involving the client and school counselors. I. Theories - Introduction In order to overcome behavioral problems such as PTSD, ADHD or fear, individuals usually communicate their problems or anxieties with their trusted friends or family members. In case of a somewhat complicated problem, a counselor is consulted. There are relatively simple forms of counseling therapies that individuals have been practicing for centuries.
