Macbeth Character Analysis Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The play Macbeth is about a man named Macbeth who starts off as a very respectable and honorable man, but when he hears three witches' predictions it went all down hill from there. After hearing the predictions and one of them came true almost immediately, he wants to become king and he was willing to do anything to become that. When he becomes king he starts to get very paranoid about people trying to take his throne from him, so he starts killing people and doing whatever he feels like to stay king. This lead to people that originally liked Macbeth to them turning on him, and the whole country of Scotland started going into a big decline. Macbeth is eventually killed and Scotland is returned back to the rightful heir. In the play, Macbeth goes through a couple different mind sets, whether it was by his own actions of influenced by someone else. As the play opens Macbeth is a very well respected man, and he and King Duncan loved each other like a father and son would.
