Buffetts investment philosophy is known for being conservative, since he believes in long-term investments. He is a typical example and also one of the most famous fundamental investors in the world. With conservative we mean that he, almost, never bets money on risky companies who deals with technology for example, and that he favors companies with a stabile growing cash flow and few surprises. The long-term investment psychology part is clearly visible to since he never plans to sell anything he buys.
One of his most famous quotes is "I only invest in things I understand". He also made an example of this is when he in 2007 held a conference for MBA finance students saying that if he was teaching finance he would give them the task to value an "internet company" and then fail everyone who give him a answer, because its "impossible" in his eyes.
