As the wind blows across the plain, there stands a heard of buffalo on the horizon. Off to the right, on horseback, there stands a hunting party ready and waiting. Bows strung and spear in hand, they wait for the perfect moment to hunt that which keeps them alive. Each in his own multi-colored attire, they stand a proud group of brave warriors. As this mystical hunting party closes in on its prey, the scene slowly fades like a dream. This was once the way of life for the Niitsitapi, also known as the Blackfoot Indian. They were once a great and powerful tribe that roamed the lands free of oppression, disease, starvation, and fear. Each tribe had a Chief full of prowess, until the white man came and eventually robbed them of their dreams. Their lives were forever changed after the two cultures collided. Between trade and other interactions, the new race shared goods and disease with the Blackfoot Indians.
