Drag racing has been around for quite some time, and has improved immensely. Drifting is fairly new, and is definitely getting popular.
Drag racing is a competition that is specifically prepared for two vehicles to cross a set finish line, from a standing start, in a straight line, over a certain measured distance, most commonly ΒΌ-mile straight track. The race track used in drag racing is called a drag-strip, and they use an electronic timing system to determine the winner. The main thing you need in drag racing is a huge, good quality engine with a lot of horsepower. I'm not going to say drag racing requires a lot of skill, but it does require some.
