Fast food is good for your children. When I say that I mean it is good for your children to work at part-time jobs like fast food restaurants when in high school. Its helps students gain skills, have responsibilities as well as learn to appreciate money (Halas). People sometimes assume that skills can't be learned at a simple patty flipping job but that isn't true. There are plenty of skills that can be learned there. Teens normally don't appreciate money until they have earned it themselves (Halas). I myself experienced not being thankful for money, I didn't appreciate my mother's money until I began to work and have different responsibilities.
During the summer before my senior year of high school I came to the conclusion that I wanted to begin working. I had brought it up to my mother once before at the beginning of my junior year of high school but she wouldn't allow me to work. So during my whole junior year I didn't bring it up again because I knew that my mother wouldn't change her mind.
