The scientific study of the reciprocal influence of the individual and his or her social context(Myers,D). Social Psychology revolves around how society influences one another. How are our beliefs and actions shaped by the people around us. It could also be looked as how we want others to perceive ourselves. No matter how hard anyone tries there will always be negative and positive beliefs against cultures/society. People just can't help but judge others on their race. Whether its denying someone a job because of their skin color or not sitting next to an Arab on a plane, there will always be some type of racial attitude. For example when I see a relative in my family who's also Puerto Rican I instantly say in my head that he will be loud/ attention whoring and a party animal.
