Although I am still what most people would consider quite young, as I go through life, I've realized that there are many different types of friends. In fact, the more I think about it, it seems like the term friend is actually used rather loosely. None the less, it is still a commonly used word that we all think describes the people around us. There are good friends, the kind that you can trust, ones that are there for the long run. Unfortunately, there are many more bad friends than good ones. The kind of people you should avoid at all costs. Once they have found a place in your life, it is rare that they ever leave. There are the people that use you, the ones that are just pretending, the ones only there for the good times, and the ones that just like to brag. Even plain association with these people can make your life miserable.
One type of bad friend that I have encountered in my brief fourteen years is the one I like to call "The User". This unfortunate breed of friend is the kind that only comes around when you have something to offer ......
