My Sister's Keeper Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Is it possible to love your children equally without favoring one over the other? In "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult, Sara Fitzgerald has two kids named Kate and Anna; she favors Kate more than she does Anna. Kate was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukima, Anna goes under daily medical treatments in order to keep her sister alive. After Sara telling Anna that she needs to give up one of her kidneys in order to save her sister's life Anna decides to suit her parents for medical emancipation. In the book we only see three people on Anna's side which is Campbell Alexander her attorney, Julia Romano, and her father. Can Sara honestly say that she loves her daughters equally without putting Kate first? When Kate was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukima at the age of two, Brian and Sara decided to genetically conceive another child that was an exact donor match to Kate. Anna now 13, decided to suit her parents for medical emancipation, she sought the help of Campbell Alexander. Campbell Alexander was a fierce lawyer, and not afraid to take on ex lawyer Sara Fitz......
