We are a small but promising yogurt manufacture located in Vermont. Since 1989, our company's revenues had grown 130 times from $ 0.1 million to 13 million dollars. We focus on selling our yogurt in 3 different sizes, 4 ounce, 8 ounce and 32 ounce. Up until 1989, our products had occupied 24% of organic yogurt market share in nationwide natural foods stores.
Unfortunately, one venture capital company planned to withdraw its money. To maintain our sustainable development and attract another investor, we must increase our revenues from 13million to 20 million before the end of 2001. In order to reach our goal, we should consider whether our company should expand into the supermarket channel. This is a challenging plan and we have confidence to conquer it.
Alternatives
For achieving our target, there are three alternatives in front of us. All plans have high possibility to reach our goal. We must choose the plan which not only reaches our goal but also doesn't influence our previous market share.
