Love is not always full of bliss, The Notebook expresses this, telling the story of Noah and Allie, a young love that became so much more. The short clip, captured so many emotions, and gave me so much to work with when it came to describing the scene. Nicholas Cassavettes, director of The Notebook, which was inspired by Nicolas Sparks, captures the beauty in a couple, who lost sight of the beauty found in love. The lush trees, ever so green with the slightest turn in color, as a salutation to summer, the slightest changes in the brisk summer air, which tells you a storm is rolling in. Yet the sun has an incandescent glow to it, one that kisses the face in the softest way, adding a twinkle to the eye. Notes played stilly, oars stimulating the water, creating a gentle gurgle, the whisper of nature as Noah and Allie rest on the water, interrupted by the murmur of ducks as the two drift.
