Van Gough Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Artists have the ability to delve into their inner imagination and create masterpieces from an unseen world. Our brains are a beautiful creation, a gift from God that can discover and unveil and entirely foreign and universe through imagination. Because God made all human beings different, I find it hard for any person to say what came from the imagination of another. In other words, I believe trying to interpret Vincent van Gogh's painting "Starry Night" as he would of seen it, with all the delicacies and deeper meanings is next to impossible. Although there are many who have made honorable attempts in trying to discover the inner workings of van Gogh's mind, the only who will know the true and deeper meaning of the painting is Vincent himself. An artist I studied, Anne Sexton, described what "Starry Night" meant to her. Her description was through poetry she had written in 1961. Sexton did a fair amount of research, trying to get into Vincent's mind as best she could, before writing to try and relate to the painting, however, accurate results were, and......
