Point of View Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Point of view helps the reader to understand what is going on in a story. Without any kind of point of view we would not be able to get a clearer picture on what happened in the event that is being described to us by somebody else that witnessed, heard, or told about the event. In Hoodwinked we reach four points of view from four separate characters in the story each telling about what they each had heard and saw that day in the forest. Each point of view is unique from all the others because each character only knows what they saw; they know nothing about what the other person knows or what they were doing at the time of accident. From the character of Red we see that she is heading to Granny Puckett's house to give her the Family Recipe book to keep it safe from the Goodie Bandit who is stealing recipes in the forest. On Red's way there she is riding on a rollercoaster with a singing goat when an avalanche starts to come off the mountain. From Red's point of view she does not know what caused the avalanche. The rollercoaster eventually goes through a cave and when it comes out ......
