As a sales manager your goal is to achieve positive results. It is easy for a manager just to tell his workers what to do and what the goal is, but some managers do not understand the importance of keeping a satisfied and motivated sales force. The importance of maintaining a satisfied sales force is vital. The reason is because as a manager you want your sales force to be satisfied so they can keep performing at an optimum level. You may have the privilege to have a very good sales person in your sales force, but it does you no good to see him go because he was not happy working for you. A satisfied sales person is enthusiastic of what he/she is doing and may bring better results opposed to a sales person who is not satisfied. There are many ways to keep a sales person satisfied, one could be to offer a good support system to them when needed, give them the proper plan to succeed, and give incentives as a reward.
