The title of this article is Counselor's Perceptions of Ethical behaviors which comes from Journal of Counseling, and was published in spring of 2011. The authors are Edward S. Neukrug and Tammi Milliken.
The main purpose of this article is to discuss the differences in making ethnic decisions and the factors of which help to alter ethical decisions. Also, showing what people from different races, ethnic backgrounds, genders, and ages think of the definition of an ethic decision and what they think an ethnic decision may be. It is also discussing the practice of this and how challenging it may be to correctly covey good decisions, which is why counselors may need more training in the subject throughout their careers, as well as some type of ethical training in the beginning of their career. The author is trying to answer the question of, what is ethical behavior and should counselors get training on a regular in order to continue to make ethical decisions and think ethically?
