Destination: Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago Illinois. The zoo is small and inviting right in the middle of beautiful Chicago. As you walk into the zoo you are greeted by a huge arch way leading into a commons area. I made my way to the information center, picked up a map of the area and was on my way to explore the primates. First stop was the Small-Mammal-Reptile House, and boy was it pleasantly warm inside. As I walked in I was instantly hit with the moist warmth that envelops this area. The cave-like building is dark with a young lady sitting at a desk ready to interact with the children as they bustle through the exhibit. I couldn't help but walk straight to the huge snakes and take a peek before I wondered over to the Pygmy Slow Loris (Nycticebus pygmaeus) cage. This primate's cage was very dark and it was quite hard to spot this little creature. The inside looked like smooth rock with four branches stair stepping its way from top to bottom. As I watched the Slow Loris he moved in almost a slow motion way from the top of the cage to the bottom. His movement was very d......
